7 Things Your Church Staff Wish You Knew
If you are a ministry leader, you are most likely a volunteer and report to a staff member directly or indirectly. I’ve noticed recently that ministry leaders don’t really understand what their staff expect. This is due either to the staff being too busy to communicate, or because the staff prefer to just leave things status quo.
Over the next two weeks, we are going to discuss the 7 things that your church staff wish you knew as a ministry leader:
- Church staff don’t know everything about running a church - help them
- Church staff are too busy for the technical details - guide them
- Church staff want you to build the team and recruit volunteers - support them
- Church staff like to know what your team has done - tell them
- Church staff want to know what your team is doing - inform them
- Church staff need to know where your team is going - engage them
- Church staff want to help you - let them
So, why not invite a friend to join us as we learn how you and your fellow ministry leaders can make a larger impact in their church by understanding what your church staff wish you knew!
